About
Japan travel planning with seasonality in mind
Japan Comfort Tool helps overseas travelers understand why hotel prices in Japan can change so dramatically by month and region. A trip in February means one thing in Hokkaido, another in Tokyo, and something completely different in Okinawa.
The first version of this site uses a rule-based database to estimate hotel season levels by month and region. It highlights low season, regular season, peak season, and super peak season, then gives practical booking advice and alternative areas to compare. If live prices, flights, car rentals, event calendars, affiliate comparisons, or sponsored partnerships are added later, the relevant content will be clearly marked near the link or recommendation.
Editorial principles
- Answer practical travel questions clearly and early.
- Use tables and structured data where they help travelers make decisions.
- Reference official tourism, transport, event, and policy sources when articles depend on dates or rules.
- Keep content updated because hotel prices, festival dates, and travel policies can change.
- Advertising, affiliate, sponsored, free-product, or paid partnership content should not be mixed into ordinary recommendations without disclosure.
